ADULT, CHILD, AND INFANT CPR

Rescue breathing, choking and use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). Hands on training with realistic manikins ensure a lively class. On completion of the class all students will receive a certification card and a First Aid online book.  Each participant assigned a manikin!

 

FIRST AID TRAINING

Be prepared for anything.  This hands-on course covers prevention and treatment for burns, bleeding control, splinting, seizures, poisoning, shock, heat emergencies, eye and facial injuries, and infection control.  911 drills and emergency planning are included in this course.  ASHIcertification card and online book provided.  

 

ACTIVE VIOLENCE EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING

AVERT gives you the tools to understand how to recognize warning signs, react quickly in an active shooter situation, and learn how to control bleeding in life-threatening situations.  AVERT is active shooter response training with the addition of techniques to stop the bleed of victims.

EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM TRAINING

We can assist you with forming you own work place response team. The program includes training, responsibilities and notification guidelines.

 

AED Implementation

We will put in place a full AED program, including AED selection, placement and on going maintenance. We are Authorized Philips Distributors.

BLOODBORNE PATHOGENS

This course varies in time based on the needs of the workplace.  Federal OSHA requires that blood-borne pathogens training be provided annually to employees with potential occupational exposure.  Participants learn to protect themselves and others from exposure through proper workplace safety and techniques.  Textbook and ASHI certification card provided.

This service is designed to help individuals with disabilities acquire, retain or improve self--help, socialization and adaptive skills required for active participation and independent functioning outside the home.
